Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 10 bananas
  • 2 bars of chocolate, preferably bitter, e.g. 74% cocoa

  • 175 g brown sugar
  • 200 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

not low in calories, but incredibly tasty and good for the soul

Peel the bananas and slice them. Break the chocolate into small pieces and mix it with the bananas in a baking dish. Press down lightly. In a bowl, mix the flour with the brown sugar and butter by hand and mash until small crumbles form. Sprinkle these crumbles onto the banana-chocolate mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the crumbles are nicely browned. Serve the crumble warm with vanilla ice cream. If you like, you can also use cream or vanilla sauce, but the combination of hot crumble with cold ice cream is simply delicious—and good for the soul!
