Greek tuna paste

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can tuna, in its own juice
  • 1 cup cream cheese, natural
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp honey, preferably Greek thyme honey
  • oregano
  • Thyme
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

good spread

Finely chop the onion using a food processor or a hand blender, then vigorously squeeze it through a clean cloth to release the juices. This prevents the juices from settling on the surface. Combine the cream cheese, tuna, onion, honey, oregano, and thyme in a bowl and vigorously mix with your hands until a paste forms. Season with pepper to taste. Goes very well with fresh white bread.
