Oven-baked feta cheese with Turkish pointed peppers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of feta cheese
  • 10 bell peppers (pointed peppers)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • wine, white
  • olive oil
  • vegetable broth
  • pepper
  • Oregano, basil, thyme
  • Baguette(s)
  • 3 tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the feta cheese in an ovenproof dish. Wash and deseed the bell peppers and arrange them around the feta cheese. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on top of the feta cheese. Sprinkle with herbs. Pour in a mixture of vegetable broth and white wine, leaving 1-2 cm of the feta cheese in the broth. Press in garlic to taste and season with pepper. Drizzle olive oil over the entire dish and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 30-45 minutes. The peppers can brown…it tastes delicious. Serve with baguette.
