Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g quark (cottage cheese)
  • 120 g minced beef
  • egg yolk
  • 80 g mild sheep’s cheese, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • Flour for rolling
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Combine the minced meat with the curd cheese and egg yolk. Stir in the finely diced feta cheese. Season with garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Form into 10 balls and chill for about 15 minutes. Then coat in flour and fry in hot olive oil. Finish cooking in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. Serve with white bread.
