Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Soak the bread roll in water. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion, and fry it in butter until translucent. Let it cool. Crush the garlic clove and add it to the onion. Dice the feta cheese. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat). Combine the minced meat with the egg, the squeezed-out bread roll, herbs, onion, and garlic, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Form the minced meat into medium-sized balls, flatten them slightly, wrap each ball in the meat mixture with a cube of feta, and flatten the balls again. Heat oil in a pan and fry the minced steaks on both sides until crispy. Then place the minced steaks in a baking dish and finish cooking in the oven for about 25 minutes. Serve with rice noodles and tomato sauce. Variation: You can mix finely grated medium-sized zucchini into the meat mixture.
