Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 cup(s) bread(s), the crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 tomatoes
  • some sugar
  • Oil for frying
  • cumin
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Minced meat rolls

Soak the breadcrumbs, then squeeze them well. Mix the ground meat with the squeezed breadcrumbs, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Knead and form into long rolls. Heat the oil and fry the meat rolls. Drain the oil, reserving about half a cup. Briefly blanch the tomatoes in boiling water and peel them, then puree them. Place the oil and pureed tomatoes in a pan. Add the sugar, salt, and pepper, and simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes. Add the soutzozkákia, let it cook a little longer, and serve.
