Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 500 g minced beef
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 100 g sheep’s cheese
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 2 bunch spring onions
- 2 tbsp herb butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Finely chop the onions and garlic cloves. Add them to the minced meat along with the eggs. Finely chop the feta cheese and add it too. Season everything with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, marjoram, and paprika and mix well. Form the mixture into about 8 meatballs, flatten them, and fry in a pan for about 4 minutes on each side. Keep warm. Trim and wash the spring onions, slice them into rings, and sauté them in a pan with the herb butter for 10 minutes. If desired, add a little water and pour it over the minced steaks. Serve with baguette and red wine. Tip: I also really like it with leeks sprinkled over the minced steaks.
