Tapenade – tomato paste

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar of tomatoes, dried in oil (drain) or without oil
  • 5 black olives, pitted
  • Garlic, as much as you like, fresh
  • 1 lemon(s), grated peel
  • pepper
  • 6 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

goes great on white bread or with meat

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Do not remove the oil from the sun-dried tomatoes. It’s better to add about 5-7 tablespoons of good extra virgin olive oil before blending.
