Tomato – Mozzarella – Salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g cherry tomatoes or Roma tomatoes
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 300 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • Spice mix (tomato-mozzarella-salt)
  • pepper
  • Baguette(s) or toast

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Kicky’s style

Peel the onions and finely dice them. Add the vinegar (more or less to taste; we’ll need a lot because we’ll be soaking the liquid) and the diced onions to a bowl. Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into bite-sized pieces and add them to the bowl. Add the oil (more or less to taste) and stir in. Season generously with spices and pepper and let it simmer for a few minutes. Serve with fresh baguette or toasted bread.
