Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 35 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 140 ml water
  • 30 g oil, e.g. sunflower oil
  • 125 g peanuts, roasted and chopped
  • 15 g sesame seeds
  • 40 g brown sugar
  • 30 g peanut butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Mix 25g of flour with the yeast, sugar, and 40ml of warm water and let it rise for 30 minutes. Then add the remaining 175g of flour, the powdered sugar, the baking powder, the oil, and the remaining 100ml of water. Knead into a dough (add a little more flour if the dough is too wet) and let it rest for another 20 minutes. For the filling, mix the peanuts with the brown sugar, sesame seeds, and peanut butter. To fill the dough, divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, fill with about 2 tablespoons of the peanut mixture, seal, and shape into a 1.5-2cm thick circular disc with a diameter of about 8cm. Let it rest for another 20 minutes. Then fry in a pan with hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
