Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 1 kg carrot(s)
- 2 garlic cloves, finely diced
- ½ liter of oil
- some salt
- 3 tbsp vinegar (more if needed)
- n. B. pepper, black
- e.g. chili powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Peel the carrots and grate or slice them into sticks. Then place them in a pot. Heat the oil very (!) strongly. Meanwhile, add the remaining ingredients to the carrots. As soon as the oil begins to smell burnt, slowly pour it over the carrots, a spoonful at a time (it should sizzle!). Let it sit for about 2 days before serving. It will keep for several months.
