Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.38 liters of milk
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes

Beat the eggs with the salt. Stir in the milk, flour, and baking powder. Pour the mixture into a greased double boiler and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool for 10 minutes and then turn out of the boiler. Serve with a fruit sauce. The Mehlbüddel also tastes great pan-fried later.
