Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 225 g cashew nuts, unsalted, unroasted
- ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp water
- 250 ml peanut oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Kadju Badun – snack with beer
Combine the cashews, paprika, turmeric powder, salt, and water and let stand for one hour. Heat the oil in a shallow pan and fry the cashews until evenly browned. Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper. Sprinkle with chili powder and mix well. Perfect with a fresh pilsner!
