Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg onion(s)
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 15 olives, black, if possible with stone
  • 1 small can of anchovies
  • Thyme
  • Bay leaf
  • 1 serving of pizza dough
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Pizza from the South of France

Thinly slice the onions and sauté them with olive oil, spices, salt, and pepper over low heat for about an hour. Roll out the pizza dough and top with the onions, olives, and anchovies. Bake the pizza dough in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 17-20 minutes.
