Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pork
  • 2 stalk(s) Celery
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 250 g leek
  • 1 tbsp ginger powder
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup(s) water
  • ½ tsp cornstarch
  • 100 g peas, frozen
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Heat the fat in a large pan or wok and, in batches, brown the meat, which has been cut into very thin slices and then into strips, in very high heat. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Slice the celery, and slice the onions and leeks, and brown them in the fat. Add the meat and season with ginger, crushed garlic, and soy sauce. Add water and stir in the cornstarch. Simmer for another 5 minutes, adding the peas. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with rice or Chinese noodles.
