Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 500 g beef steak(s)
- 250 g bamboo shoots, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 red chili peppers, finely diced or a pinch of chili powder
- 4 spring onions
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds

Cut the steak into thin slices and the spring onions into 3-centimeter strips. Brown the beef on all sides in hot oil. Add the remaining ingredients one at a time, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice.
