Beef with bamboo shoots

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp sesame oil
  • 500 g beef steak(s)
  • 250 g bamboo shoots, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 red chili peppers, finely diced or a pinch of chili powder
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the steak into thin slices and the spring onions into 3-centimeter strips. Brown the beef on all sides in hot oil. Add the remaining ingredients one at a time, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice.
