Toffee Nut Brownies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • 1 pack of chocolate pudding powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 150 g nuts of your choice (e.g. walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews,…)
  • 120 g candy(s) (chocolate toffees or chocolate caramel candies)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 165°C (fan-assisted). For the batter, roughly chop the chocolate and melt it with the butter over a pan of hot water. Let it cool slightly. Combine the flour with the pudding powder, cocoa powder, and baking soda. In another bowl, beat the sugar and vanilla sugar with the eggs with a mixer until fluffy. Fold in the butter and chocolate mixture. Then mix in the sour cream. Finally, mix in the flour mixture thoroughly. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined shallow baking dish. For the toffees, halve the chocolate candies with a knife. Sprinkle the nuts and toffee evenly over the brownie batter. Bake for about 25 minutes.
