Apple tarte flambée

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 apple, e.g. Braeburn, or to taste
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Sugar
  • Calvados

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the apple, core it, and slice it thinly. Spread the dough with crème fraîche, top with the apple slices, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake on the bottom rack of a preheated oven to 250 degrees Celsius (480 degrees Fahrenheit) until the dough bubbles and begins to brown slightly around the edges. Remove the tarte flambée, sprinkle with cinnamon, and drizzle with Calvados.
