Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large apples (e.g. Reinette)
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tbsp water approx. per apple
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp jelly (raspberry)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Baked apples with jelly

Wash the apples (dry thoroughly!), core them, and make a small cut around the center. Grease an ovenproof dish with a little butter and place the apples in it. Fill the apples with the remaining butter, sprinkle with sugar, and pour in the water. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes. Top each with 1 tablespoon of raspberry jelly and serve immediately.
