Banana Loaf (original Canadian recipe)
Whisk together the sugar, flour, salt, eggs, butter, and baking soda. Stir the mashed bananas into the batter. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes at 170°C. Since Canadians enjoy a sweet/savory combination, a mild cheese is often served with this cake.
