Pasta bake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, e.g. fusilli
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 1 zucchini
  • 100 g ham
  • 1 cup of cream
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Thyme and oregano
  • 100 g cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Chop the bell pepper, carrot, zucchini, and ham into small pieces. Place everything in a large bowl and mix together. Then pour the cream over it and mix everything again. Season generously with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and the herbs. You’ll need quite a bit of salt and nutmeg, as the pasta absorbs a lot of it. Add the pasta and mix everything together, adjusting the seasoning if necessary. You can now either mix in the cheese and then pour the mixture into the dish, or pour the mixture into the dish and sprinkle the cheese on top. Place the dish in the oven and bake the casserole at 200 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes.
