Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
To make the brownie mixture, melt the chocolate and butter over a water bath. The mixture should not be hot, just warm. In another bowl, beat the sugar, salt, and eggs until creamy. Then add the chocolate-butter mixture and mix well. To this mixture, add the flour and roughly chopped walnuts. The brownie batter is then placed in a lightly greased brownie pan lined with baking paper and set aside. To make the delicious cookie dough, briefly beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until creamy, then add the egg and mix well. In another bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder together and then add to the butter mixture. Finally, add the chocolate chips. This way, you can flatten the batter slightly and scatter it in portions over the brownie mixture. Bake the treat in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 40 minutes. After baking, the cake should cool down well and can then be cut into small squares and eaten.
