Chinese vegetable stir-fry with turkey strips

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey meat
  • 3 onions
  • 3 stalk(s) leeks
  • 4 carrots
  • 100 g peas, fresh or frozen
  • 2 class can/n mushrooms (whole)
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • Five-spice powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the turkey into strips and season with the five-spice powder. Peel and slice the onions, clean and slice the leeks, peel and slice the carrots, and drain and halve the mushrooms. Heat the oil and brown the meat. Add the onion rings, carrot sticks, peas, mushrooms, and leeks, stirring well. Add the soy sauce and deglaze with the vegetable stock. Simmer gently for about 20 minutes and season to taste. Thicken with a sauce thickener, if desired. Serve with rice.
