Ham with Chablis

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) cooked ham, large, thick
  • ½ bottle of white wine (Chablis)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 shallot(s), peeled and cut into wafer-thin slices

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Chablisian Ham

Bring the wine and shallot slices to a boil, then simmer gently until reduced by half. Remove from the heat and stir in the tomato paste. Roll up the ham slices individually, place them in an ovenproof dish, and pour the wine mixture over them. Bake for 20 minutes at 170°C. Serve with rice.
