Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml oil (olive oil), first pressing
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 pinches of black pepper, ground
  • 1 pinch(s) paprika powder
  • 500 g fresh white mushrooms

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 40 minutes

Remove the stems and peel the mushrooms. Pour the oil into a Tupperware container, press in the garlic, add the herbs, pepper, paprika, and balsamic vinegar, and mix everything together. Place the prepared mushrooms in the marinade, close the lid, and shake gently. Let stand for at least 48 hours (in a cool place, but not in the refrigerator, as this will cause the oil to curdle), shaking occasionally. Then slice and serve on toast, for example, as an appetizer.
