Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 chicken breast fillet(s), 120g
- ¼ onion(s) (vegetable onion)
- 70 ml milk
- 2 tbsp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 slices of white bread (white loaf)
- Salt
- pepper
- chili sauce
- Clarified butter, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Cut the chicken breast and onion into thin strips. Melt the clarified butter, fry the chicken strips for 1-2 minutes, then add the onion and fry for another 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Bring the milk to a boil, remove from heat, and stir in the cheese and butter. Season with chili sauce. The cheese and butter should not be completely melted. Spread the cheese mixture onto the white bread slices. Top one slice with the chicken and cover with the other slice. Fry the sandwich in the hot clarified butter for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
