Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 rolls (or 4 slices of toast)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 g cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat for the mold

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 20 minutes

Southwest Breakfast Casserole

Soak the rolls in 1 cup of milk, then place them in a lightly greased baking dish. Combine the cheese, eggs, and cooked ham (in small pieces), season with salt and pepper, and pour over the rolls. Stir lightly. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight and bake the next morning at 190°C for 30 minutes.
