Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 3 chicken legs
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 tbsp oil (soybean oil)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
In a small bowl, combine the oil, syrup, soy sauce, ginger, and tomato paste. Peel and press the garlic, and mix with the ingredients in the bowl. Rinse the chicken thighs and pat dry. Score the skin with a sharp knife. Brush the chicken thighs with the marinade and marinate for about 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes.
