Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • Breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion. Then, thoroughly mix the meat, onions, mustard, egg, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Form them into 6-8 balls. Roll them in breadcrumbs, flatten them, and roll them again in breadcrumbs. Cook in a pan with plenty of fat until crispy and brown. Tip: This goes well with a fine mustard sauce, boiled potatoes, and a fresh salad. It’s also delicious served cold.
