Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 260 g flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 60 g walnuts, chopped or almonds
  • 40 g chocolate shavings
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 60 g sugar
  • 80 ml oil
  • 125 ml milk (chocolate milk)
  • 180 ml buttermilk

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Combine ingredients 1 to 6. In a second bowl, lightly beat the egg. Add the sugar, oil, chocolate milk, and buttermilk and mix well. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Immediately pour into the baking pans and bake at approximately 180 degrees Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes! For a sweeter treat, double the amount of sugar.
