Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 slices of Leberkäse, approx. 0.5 cm thick
- 1 tbsp sausage meat (liver sausage meat)
- 1 slice(s) ham
- 1 slice(s) cheese
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 handful of breadcrumbs
- Fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
without breading, suitable for LCHF
Place ham and cheese on a slice of Leberkäse, leaving a small edge. Spread the meat mixture over the remaining edge, place the second Leberkäse slice on top, and press firmly. Beat the egg, then dip the Leberkäse in the egg, then coat it in breadcrumbs, fry until crispy on both sides, and you’re done. We served it with potato and cucumber salad. Suitable for LCHF without the breading.
