Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 350 g pasta (macaroni)
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 3 small bell peppers, red
- 500 g minced meat
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 can corn kernels
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 8 eggs
- 125 ml cream
- 125 g sour cream or crème fraîche
- ¼ liter of milk
- nutmeg
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Dice the onion and bell peppers. Slice the spring onions into rings. Rinse the pasta in cold water and drain. Brown the minced meat in hot oil until crumbly. Add the onion, bell pepper, and spring onion and fry for about 4 minutes, then stir in the corn. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Whisk together the eggs, cream, sour cream, and milk; season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Grease a 26 cm springform pan. Wrap the outside and sides of the pan in a double layer of aluminum foil. Place the pasta in the pan and pull it up along the sides to create a well. Add the minced meat mixture and pour the egg mixture over it. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/4 hours (fan oven 200°C, gas mark 3). If the cake starts to get too dark, simply cover with aluminum foil.
