Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g margarine (e.g. Sanella)
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 lemon(s), unsprayed, grated peel
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 100 g almond(s) (almond slivers)
  • 100 g raisins, washed, well drained
  • 100 g candied lemon peel, diced
  • 50 g candied orange peel
  • some powdered sugar for dusting
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Whisk the margarine in a bowl until fluffy. Gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, and lemon zest. Stir in the sifted flour, a tablespoon at a time, alternating with the milk. Finally, fold in the almond slivers, raisins, candied lemon peel, and candied orange peel. Place heaping spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (convection oven: 175°C, gas mark 3-4) for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Dust the cooled pastry with powdered sugar.
