Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g marzipan paste, very good quality
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp rose water
  • 80 g almonds (almond halves), peeled
  • Sugar for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Frankfurter recipe, with only 4 ingredients, vegan

Knead the marzipan mixture with the sifted powdered sugar and rose water into a smooth dough. Form into balls and place three almond halves (which should be lightly moistened beforehand) on each ball. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on top. Place the balls on the balls and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (300°F) without bottom heat for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
