Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg potatoes, raw, thin slices, peeled
  • 500 g minced meat, spicy seasoned, possibly with 2 eggs, onions and mustard
  • 3 onions, diced
  • 300 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Gouda, grated
  • butter
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Rustic – hearty

Layer the ingredients in a greased round quiche dish. Begin with a layer of potatoes and end with a layer of meat. Leave the outer edge of the meat free, so there’s a total of 1 layer of potatoes, 1 layer of minced meat, and 1 layer of potatoes. Season the potato layers well with salt. Pour over the cream and sprinkle with some cheese. If desired, add some butter flakes. Bake for 90 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat).
