Homemade spaetzle

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 430 g flour
  • 200 ml water
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine the water, milk, oil, and eggs in a bowl and whisk. Finally, add the flour, a little at a time. Stir all the ingredients together until you have a thick, firm dough that rolls off a spoon. Bring a large pot of water and plenty of salt to a boil. Now you can scrape the dough in batches over a spaetzle grater. When the spaetzle float to the top, they’re done. Remove each one with a slotted spoon and keep warm.
