Pancakes with a twist, original Swabian
Cut the noodles into 3 equal-width strips and roll them up loosely. Then place the rolled-up noodles, from the outside in, in a greased, round baking dish. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, and sugar, then pour the liquid over or into the noodles. Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C on the bottom rack for about 3/4 to 1 hour (until the milk mixture has set). Remove the aluminum foil 1/4 hour before removing from the oven. Serving suggestions: Fruit cocktail, canned pears or peaches. Tip: If you already have the noodles or canned ones from the day before, preparation time is about 20 minutes. If you don’t have ready-made noodles on hand, the ingredients for 10 to 15 noodles are as follows: 250 g flour, 3 or 4 eggs, 1/2 liter milk, salt, and sugar.
