Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • Sugar (granulated sugar) for sprinkling
  • 1 egg(s) for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Easter pinzen or just quick sweet pastries for the weekend

Knead everything except the last two ingredients together and let it rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour. Knead again and form 10 balls from the dough. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cut each ball three times and let it rise for another hour. Brush with a beaten egg and then sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 20 minutes. Serve cooled with butter and jam or honey.
