  • 1 egg(s)
  • 70 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick, easy, healthier and not too sweet

Quickly knead all ingredients except the marzipan together. Add milk according to the type of flour and the consistency of the dough. The dough should be soft but not sticky. Roll out the dough and marzipan into a rectangle on a floured work surface, place the marzipan on the dough, fold it lengthwise so that the dough encloses the marzipan, and fold over 1/3 of the resulting rectangle to create the typical Stollen shape. Bake in the center of the preheated oven at 180°C on a baking tray lined with baking paper for 50 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil after 20-30 minutes to prevent it from getting too brown! After baking, brush with melted butter if desired, sprinkle with sugar, and once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
