Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g cream cheese
- 200 g butter
- 125g Camembert(s)
- 1 large onion(s), very finely chopped
- 1 tbsp mustard, hot
- 5 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 large gherkin(s), very finely chopped
- 2 bunch chives, finely chopped
- some salt and pepper, from the mill
- some caraway seeds, to taste (optional)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Spread for farmhouse bread, sourdough bread or white bread
Cream the room-temperature butter until fluffy. Mash the Camembert with a fork. Mix the quark with mustard, paprika, pepper, and salt. Then add the creamed butter, crushed Camembert, pickles, and onions to the quark and mix thoroughly. Spread the mixture on the bread and sprinkle with chives and caraway seeds, if desired.
