Bread with green tea and kefir

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 tea bags, green
  • 500 ml water
  • 500 g rye flour, ground
  • 500 g wheat flour , 812
  • 250 ml kefir
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 12 g dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

Boil the tea and let it steep for 10 minutes. Knead all ingredients, including the slightly cooled tea, into a smooth dough. Let the dough rise for 2 hours. Then knead the dough again and pour it into two bread pans. Let it rise in the oven at 50 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Then bake the bread at 190 degrees Celsius and place a cup of hot water in the oven.
