  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

a quick pan dish

Divide the broccoli into florets, remove the stalks, and slice them. Dice the bacon and add it to the pan with the fat to sear. Meanwhile, slice the carrots and dice the onions, not too finely. Crush the garlic with a knife, remove the skin, and halve it. When the bacon is translucent, add the broccoli, carrots, and onions to the pan and fry, stirring occasionally. As soon as the onions are translucent, add the garlic, pour in about 1/2 a glass of water, and cover for five minutes. Then continue cooking uncovered until the liquid has almost evaporated. Add the fried potato seasoning, a little salt, and pepper, and stir. If you add plenty of pepper, a dollop of sour cream tastes delicious. Note: The serving size for four people is only correct as a side dish. As a main course, this will feed two hearty eaters.
