Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 70 g almond butter
  • 70 g spelt flour
  • 5 dates
  • 50 ml milk
  • 40 ml water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

BLW finger food, without egg, makes about 8 cookies

Puree or chop the dates with milk, stir in all other ingredients, and place in small mounds on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 13 minutes. Variation: Peanut-Cranberry Cookie: 70g peanut butter, 50g spelt flour, 2 tsp flaxseed meal in 3 tsp water (let soak for 5 minutes), 5 chopped dates, and 1 tbsp chopped dried cranberries soaked in 50ml milk. Blend everything into a smooth dough. Bake in small mounds for 8-10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
