Fine muesli – homemade

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 20 g sunflower seeds
  • 30 g walnuts, chopped
  • 35 g sesame seeds
  • 20 g desiccated coconut
  • 35 g pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil, canola
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 30 g raisins, nB
  • Milk, to serve
  • Fruit, fresh, n. B.

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with baking paper. In a bowl, mix the oats, sunflower seeds, walnuts, sesame seeds, coconut flakes, and pumpkin seeds. Place them on the baking sheet, spread evenly, and toast for about 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn/stir everything slightly with a spoon. After 20 minutes, everything should be lightly toasted and not too brown. Remove from the oven, let it cool completely on the baking sheet, and then transfer to a larger bowl. In a saucepan, heat the oil, honey, and cinnamon, stirring continuously. Now stir into the oat mixture until it forms a crumbly mixture. It shouldn’t be soggy, though. Divide the mixture among four cereal bowls and serve with milk, which you then drizzle over. Serve with fresh, seasonal fruit of your choice. If you don’t need all the cereal at once, you can store it in an airtight container after it has cooled. It will last for a good week.
