Oatmeal pancakes with applesauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g oat flakes (not whole grain)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Applesauce, homemade or ready-made product

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Soak the oatmeal in milk for 2-3 hours. Then add the eggs and flour and stir in. Fry in batches in hot oil and serve immediately. Serve with applesauce. Tip: If you don’t like applesauce, add a little sugar to the batter or try a different side dish (e.g., fruit).
