Basic recipe, quick, easy and vegan
Separate the bulbs into individual cloves and remove the skin. Place the cloves in a tightly sealed jar and pour olive oil over them, ensuring the garlic is completely covered. If desired, you can also add some rosemary and thyme to the garlic cloves. All you have to do is close the jar tightly and store it in the refrigerator. Let it sit for at least two weeks to allow the aroma to develop. Note: Garlic preserved in oil must be kept in the refrigerator or freezer. Storing the garlic at room temperature can cause dangerous bacteria to grow. If handled and stored correctly, the garlic will keep for about a year (information subject to change).
