Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 chili peppers, pitted and cut into fine rings
- 1 kg spinach
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
With garlic and chili
Remove the thickest stems from the spinach, wash the leaves thoroughly, and place them in a large pot while dripping wet. Cover and cook the spinach over low heat for about 10 minutes. When the spinach begins to wilt, remove it from the pot and drain well, squeezing any excess water if necessary. Heat the oil in a pot, fry the garlic and chili, and after about a minute, add the spinach and toss to coat. Season the vegetables with salt and serve hot.
