Peel the avocado and slice or dice it into small strips. Cut the salmon into strips about 1 cm long. Place the cream cheese in a bowl and add the avocado and salmon, mixing with a teaspoon. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let it chill in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour. This is perfect as a dip or spread for grilled food, but also goes great on its own with a hearty sandwich.
