Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 ciabatta
- e.g. butter, liquid
- n. B. Pasta, cooked, a remainder
- n. B. Tomato sauce, if available, otherwise pureed tomatoes
- 1 ball of mozzarella
- e.g. basil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with leftover pasta & cheese
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the top off the ciabatta and scoop out the inside. Pour melted butter into the cavity, then add the pasta from the previous day. Spread some tomato sauce over the top. Cut the mozzarella into pieces and arrange on top. Bake the filled ciabatta on the middle rack for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese begins to brown. Let it cool slightly, sprinkle with fresh basil, serve, and enjoy!
